Lark After Dark: Night of the Living Dead (1968)

Saturday, 31 October 2026
About this event
George A. Romero’s groundbreaking Night of the Living Dead (1968) traps 7 strangers inside a remote farmhouse while the dead gather outside.
Made on a tiny budget, it became a landmark of independent cinema and transformed horror forever. Its stark b&w images, claustrophobic atmosphere and relentless dread remain remarkably effective nearly six decades later.
There are few better nights to experience it properly. See one of horror cinema’s defining films, on the big screen, in the darkness of a theatre.
Part of Lark After Dark: Home of Halloween at The Lark, Balbriggan, Fingal.
Saturday 31 October at 9pm. Tickets €10.
